How ReviewNudger fits

ReviewTec and ReviewNudger both address a practical small-business need: asking customers for reviews without leaving all the follow-up to staff. This is a comparison between two focused tools, so the useful questions are about your actual workflow. How do customers enter the system? Which features and capacity come with the subscription? Can your whole team use it? ReviewNudger costs $29 per month per location and includes supported integrations, SMS and email follow-ups, and a Google review inbox. ReviewTec publishes a $35 monthly base plan with optional add-ons.

What ReviewTec offers

ReviewTec offers text and email requests, reminders, thank-you messages, activity tracking, and links to multiple review sites. Its pricing page lists one location, five staff users, and 1,000 monthly requests in the base plan. Additional users, locations, request packs, CSV uploads, and Zapier/API access are listed as add-ons. It also advertises QR codes, tap cards, and a public review showcase.

Why businesses switch to ReviewNudger

Your existing business app should start the request

With ReviewNudger, supported payment and appointment events can start a review journey automatically. Choose the integration that matches the software you already use, confirm which event triggers it, and set the delay. Your staff can still send manually or import a customer CSV when appropriate.

Your whole team needs access

ReviewNudger includes unlimited team members for the location on your subscription. The front desk and field staff can share responsibility for follow-up without buying extra seats. A private quick-send link and QR code also let staff start the review ask at the right moment.

You want the Google review follow-through included

Requests are only the beginning. ReviewNudger brings synced Google reviews into the dashboard, offers editable AI reply drafts and optional auto-replies, and can flag likely policy violations. Your team decides what to report in Google's own tool. No review removal is guaranteed.

When ReviewTec is the better fit

ReviewTec may fit if your staff already uses its request and activity workflow, or you want its tap-card approach and public showcase. Compare the complete package you would buy. A small difference in base price alone is not a reason to replace a process your team uses successfully.

One plan. The whole review workflow.

Where we stand on review gating

A note on review gating, because it matters when you compare tools: by default ReviewNudger sends every customer the same neutral request with the same public Google review link — no sentiment checks and no star-rating questions deciding who gets asked. There is one optional, clearly disclosed per-location mode that asks how the visit went first, and even in that mode the public Google review link stays available to every customer, including unhappy ones. Selectively suppressing negative reviews violates FTC rules and Google's review policies, so whichever platform you choose, make sure its defaults keep you on the right side of both.

Where we stand on review removal

A note on review removal, because it comes up in the same comparisons: ReviewNudger includes review protection, which can screen newly synced Google reviews for likely violations of Google's review content policy — spam or fake content, off-topic content, conflicts of interest, profanity, harassment, hate speech, exposed personal information — and flag what it finds with a plain-English explanation. It is advisory only and configurable per location: you decide which flags deserve action and report them through Google's own reporting tool. ReviewNudger never submits reports on your behalf, and whether a flagged review comes down is always Google's decision — so whichever platform you choose, treat guaranteed-removal promises with skepticism.
