About ReviewNudger

Good work deserves to be seen.

Local businesses put real care into their work. We believe their online reputation should reflect it.

ReviewNudger is review-request software that sends automatic Google review requests by text or email after each paid job, for local service businesses in the United States.

Founded 2026 · Boston, Massachusetts

Our story

The team behind ReviewNudger

Too often, asking for a review is the thing that slips through the cracks at the end of a busy day. We built ReviewNudger to make it part of the routine.

How it started

Local businesses were doing the work well and collecting a fraction of the reviews they had earned, while the tools that fixed it cost hundreds of dollars a month and came with contracts. ReviewNudger was built to give a one-location business the same system for $29 a month.

A direct line to the person building it

Wesley started building ReviewNudger in Boston in early 2026 and runs it day to day: product, code, and support. He reads every message to support@reviewnudger.com himself.

Who works on it

ReviewNudger is founder-run. Sherri Wells leads business development, sales, and marketing. Production access is limited to the founder, and any contractor gets the narrowest role for a defined period.

What we believe

What makes ReviewNudger different

Simple tools. Fair pricing. An honest ask. These principles shape what we build.

  • $29 a month with every feature included

ReviewNudger is $29 a month per location with every feature and unlimited team members, and no per-message fees. Podium lists plans from Custom quote a month and Birdeye from Custom quote, with the rest quoted through a sales call.

  • Month to month, no sales call

Sign up yourself, start a 14-day trial, and cancel in Settings whenever you like; there is no annual term and no setup fee. Podium and Birdeye are typically sold through a demo on term or annual agreements.

  • Your own toll-free number, approved under your name

Your business gets its own toll-free number, and the carrier verification paperwork is filed for you from the details you enter. Once approved, your review requests go out from that number, so customers see a consistent sender.

  • The same ask for every customer, never gated

Every customer gets the same request and the same public Google link, including unhappy ones; the optional pre-screen still shows the link. That is what the FTC’s rule on consumer reviews and Google’s review policies require, and it is what keeps your listing safe.

  • 16 direct connections, 169 more through Zapier

Jobber, Square, QuickBooks, Housecall Pro, Stripe, and Clover connect directly and send a request after each paid job. Zapier and Make cover the tools that do not, and a private staff link, QR code, or spreadsheet upload works with no software at all.

The product

What ReviewNudger does

From the first request to the reply, keep your review routine in one place.

  • Automated review requests

A paid job or completed appointment in your connected app triggers one neutral request by text or email, after the delay you choose. Duplicate protection, a cooldown per customer, and quiet hours are built in, so asks go out steadily without anyone remembering to send them.

  • Automatic follow-ups

A short, ordered sequence of text and email reminders with wait days you set. It stops the moment the customer clicks through to Google, replies, or unsubscribes, so a customer gets a second and third chance to act without anyone chasing them.

  • Google review inbox

Reviews from your Google Business Profile sync into one inbox with negative-review alerts and reminders for replies that are overdue. You see each new review as it comes in instead of when you happen to check the listing.

  • AI review replies

A suggested reply in one of four tones, written in the reviewer’s language, appears beside each review for you to edit and publish. Optional auto-replies run under a narrow policy you set, with the 1 to 3 star band off by default, so replies stay consistent without sounding canned.

  • Review protection

Each synced review is screened once against Google’s own policy categories and flagged when it looks like spam, a conflict of interest, or harassment, with the reason spelled out. You decide whether to report it through Google’s form; ReviewNudger never files reports for you.

  • Review widget and staff links

A widget and “Review us” buttons for your website, plus a private staff link and QR code for asking on the spot. The reviews you already earned start working on your own site, and staff can ask without any connected software.

Working with us

How ReviewNudger works

What happens after you sign up, who answers, and how fast.

  1. Getting started

Sign up on the site, start the 14-day trial ($0 today, card required), connect Google and the app you already use, and choose text, email, or both. Setup takes about 10 minutes.

  2. Texting approval

Your own toll-free number is provisioned and its carrier verification filed from the business details you enter. Approval usually takes about three business days; email requests can go out from day one.

  3. Who you work with

The founder. Email support@reviewnudger.com, use the contact page, or the support form inside the dashboard, which is already linked to your account.

  4. Response time

Within one business day, whether you are a customer yet or not. A failed send or a disconnected app also emails you with what to fix.

  5. Billing and cancellation

$29 a month per location after the trial, billed by Stripe on a hosted checkout. Cancel in Settings; a paid subscription keeps access through the end of its billing period.

  6. Your data

Export everything as a ZIP of spreadsheets at any time, or delete the account and every record goes with it in one step. The security overview covers the rest.

ReviewNudger is based in Boston and built for businesses in the United States: texting runs on U.S. toll-free numbers with U.S. carrier verification, and signup asks for a U.S. business time zone.
