Why junk removal companies lose reviews they earned
None of these are a skill problem. They are a timing problem — and timing is exactly what software is good at.
Crews are judged on more than hauling
Customers care whether the team arrived on time, protected walls and floors, explained pricing, swept up, and treated donated items carefully. Reviews carry those trust details farther than a list of services can.
Fast jobs leave no follow-up window
A pickup may be booked, completed, paid, and gone within hours. Without an automatic step after payment, the customer relationship ends before anyone in the office thinks to ask.
One-time customers rarely come back soon
Most cleanouts are occasional needs, so waiting until the next visit is not a plan. A prompt request turns a finished one-time job into public proof while the customer still remembers the crew.
Works with the tools you already use
No new workflow for your crew. ReviewNudger listens to the apps you already run the business on and sends the request the moment the job is paid.
How it works
- 1Connect Jobber, Square, or Housecall Pro to ReviewNudger. When a completed payment arrives with customer contact details, the system can start one request journey without a dispatcher exporting a list or a crew member handing over a card.
- 2The customer can get a short, neutral request by text or email after the delay you choose. Every customer follows the same rules by default, duplicate payment events cannot create duplicate journeys, and a STOP reply prevents future review-request texts unless the customer opts back in.
- 3New Google reviews sync back into the dashboard. You can generate and edit an AI reply draft that thanks the customer for a specific detail — a careful apartment cleanout, a quick arrival, or a swept garage — while keeping the final response in your voice.

Frequently asked questions
Should the request go out before or after the truck leaves?
After the job and payment are complete. A short delay gives the crew time to leave and the customer time to see the cleared space, while keeping the result fresh enough that writing a review feels easy.
We collect most payments at the property. Does that work?
Yes. A completed Square payment can start the same request flow as a paid invoice in Jobber or Housecall Pro, as long as the payment record includes the customer contact details needed for your chosen channel.
Can property managers with repeat cleanouts be protected from too many asks?
Yes. Set a per-customer cooldown so several unit cleanouts in a short period do not create several requests. The next payment can start a new journey only after the window you chose has passed.
Can we offer a discount for leaving a review?
Do not tie discounts, refunds, or gifts to a review. Ask for an honest review with no incentive, and send the same neutral request to every customer under the same rules.
